I don't speak Russian, but some of my readers does for sure. I see increasing traffic from Russia, which is very nice as that's the country where I'm heading to, once I get going! Yandex.ru being in third position on my web site's "referring site"-list. That's something new and I'm definitely very pleased of it! :) Since birth of this web site, some traffic have been coming from Russia, but it's been small, some few visitors every now and then, but now it seems like you have finally really found me!
So, Hello Russia! :)
In the garage... I've been working with Signets front suspension. Not much have happened lately, because my work and other duties are keeping me busy, but there is always some time for my favorite hobby too! I pulled the front suspension components, in order to fabricate the upper control arm mounting ears. On drivers side it was pretty easy job, some bolts were already gone during signets junkyard days and those still there got off easily. On the passenger side it was not that easy, but not bad either. One bolt had to be cut with angle grinder, not a big struggle :)
The pics below shows what is left of the mounting ears. Actually, the ears in themselves are in pretty good shape, but the frame rail they are attached to is not in so great shape.... But this was a nice surprise, I rather fabricate the rail frames than the mounting ears! :)
Welcome to my site!
Hi everyone! I'm Vallu and this site is about my crazy road trip project called "Alea iacta est"
-The ultimate junk car road trip!-
I'm rebuilding a junk car, '69 Plymouth Signet, which I will then take to a long road trip from Finland to Thailand!
How this all started?
Kuinka kaikki alkoi...?
This is what I'm gonna do!
Homman nimi on tää!
Viljo the jester, mascot of this road trip project!
